MY STORY

15 year old Kaiya Buffelen has been interested in music her whole life. She discovered her love for singing at 6 years old, started voice and piano lessons at 8, guitar at 9, violin at 10 and she began writing songs and producing in Logic Pro at 11.

Kaiya has been performing in bands and as a solo artist in venues across western Washington since she was 9.  She took first place in the Maple Valley Idol singing contest at 12 and released her first single “The Rain” in April 2020 at age 13.

In addition to her music, Kaiya is highly involved with her brother on his viral youtube channel EvanMCGaming (approaching 1 million subscribers) which focuses on in depth Minecraft documentaries. She is instrumental in helping with researching, music selection, script review and is learning to do video editing.
